Kim O'Neill Coaching & the Every Day is a New Day Show are about moving forward; supporting you in seeing yourself more clearly (because you're amazing!); inspiring you to know you CAN do anything your heart desires; providing you hope, healing and insights that support you in releasing whatever may be weighing you down so you can see there truly are infinite possibilities for your life.
Through coaching, you'll learn what shifts to make that will support you in embracing your strengths; cultivating a positive mindset towards yourself and others; and release whatever may be weighing you down and preventing you from confidently moving forward.
To best serve you, I take a holistic approach in coaching you. Because beyond what you do - you are a person first. Beyond being a person, you are a spiritual being. You and your earthly existence are just part of the equation. There's more to you and "reality" than what meets-the-eye. You are more than a body. Energy factors into everything that ever is, was or will be created. What information is that energy providing you? Your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, actions and more are all representations of that energy and become the foundation upon which you create your version of reality - and this absolutely impacts your personal and professional life.
In 2013 I started out providing interview coaching - helping job-seekers prepare for employment interviews. I have experience with interviews from every which angle, and have learned many people don't know what they don't know - and I can help them. Within a couple years, I saw that the real work of interview prep required most clients to go much deeper within themselves than surface-level job prep. This allowed me to get to the core of what I do best.
I'm not a therapist, but I've been told coaching with me is "therapeutic" and "better than therapy." I've learned that no matter what my clients' coaching intentions are, other life issues will arise. As we focus on enhancing your confidence in both your personal and professional life, there's no topic that's off-limits; however, you must know that coaching is about wellness and moving forward - looking towards your goals and the future vs. examining everything in the past and what went wrong. Even so, that doesn't mean there won't be elements of healing and learning from your past as we coach. I got you.
I'm here to support you in developing more courage, confidence and clarity as you say a massive "YES!" to the YOU that is waiting to emerge. I want you to know it's safe to be you; that anything you have your heart set on, is always possible; to help you develop a positive mindset; make sense of the chaos in your head so you can stand more confidently in your power; learn to trust what your emotions and intuition are telling you ... and anything else you desire for yourself.
You are amazing. There is always hope.
Every day is always a new day.
About kim o'neill
Oh where do I begin...
Ever since I was a kid, I have felt purpose-driven and career-oriented. I wanted to be an actress, a singer, a private investigator, make handmade books, and even be a dental receptionist (yes, for real). In my teen years, I made a long list of 20+ professions I'd love to have, and eventually realized I'd really love to help people with their *problems* in some way.
Today, I'm a former Crime Analyst turned Authentic Confidence & Interview Coach, as well as Host of the Every Day is a New Day Show.
How did I get from Crime Analysis to confidence and interviews?
My journey didn't start with Crime Analysis.
My journey started as a kid with school theater acting, singing and performance competitions. It then continued with temporarily majoring in Journalism and eventually switching to Communication (Interpersonal & Organizational) in college. In the meantime, I held several work positions that yielded a wide range of experience with interview hiring processes, including working in Human Resources. On the side, I did professional voiceovers, briefly sang in a band, and hosted a podcast/live show for 6+ years. ... and one day I manifested a Crime Analyst position because I was ready for a position that utilized my natural analytical abilities.
Oh, and let's not forget I'm also a human who's had to learn from and heal through her own heartbreak and the deep valleys of life that over time has brought me to feeling so passionate about assisting others with their deep valleys and whatever holds them back from confidently being expressed.
What have I learned that brings this all together?
I've learned that when it comes to interviews and speaking, preparation makes a huge difference.
I've learned that it's NOT about being perfect.
I've learned that if you don't stay connected to who You are, you'll get all sorts of screwed up along the way.
... and that everything is possible, when you know how to be in tune with your emotions and shift your own energy.
I'm also a big fan of learning from everything along the way. Nothing in life is ever wasted. You're always right on time when you're choosing to learn and grow through what you go through.
Today I take a holistic approach in coaching people to confidently be and express their authentic self. I love coaching people in making the shifts that will support them in being able to feel strong, powerful and ultimately love themselves and their life more. I help you see your strengths more clearly, and teach you how to understand the informational value of your emotions and intuition. I support you in shifting perspective and taking brave, bold steps forward. I have been certified in the following: ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC; 2015-2018); Certified Law of Attraction Coach; Reiki Master Practitioner; Infinite Possibilities Trainer; and Spontaneous Transformation Practitioner.
Personally, I have always known I am a passionate, purpose-driven soul who wanted to both help people, as well as have an outlet for creative expression. For many years, however, I allowed my head (and "society") dictate how I went about achieving that (without realizing it). Along the way, however, I learned it's been my emotions that were running the show all along - and not fully understanding their informational value is what "slowed" me down. The good thing ... is what we resist persists. And what exists, can be processed and transmuted ... Or ... eventually erupts, becomes a massive puddle of once-stuffed-down emotions, and won't go away until we FINALLY take time to process them. Whew! For me, taking time to shift negative self-talk and release old hurt, expectations of others and fears of abandonment and more were all part of the process for me to be able to see myself and my life more clearly, so that I could move forward.
Professionally, as a former Crime Analyst, I learned what it means to take a leap of faith and say a bigger yes to my professional dreams of coaching, energy healing and show hosting. I also learned how to embrace my spiritual self and work with my energy, despite being surrounded by an abundance of Type-A personalities and over-emphasis on “practicality.” Through my personal experience and professional training, I am the logical choice for supporting you in knowing and embracing who you truly are; what you desire; shifting energies; and taking action to experience new possibilities.
I have made several of my own career transitions in the last 20 years, and while some have been scary, every one has been worth it. From Registered Dental Assistant to Human Resources Coordinator, from Voiceover Artist to Crime Analyst ... to Confidence Coach, Reiki Master and Show Host. I mean it when I say - There's NOTHING you can't do.
I didn't get here in one full swoop, however. There have been many detours, and I've learned how to extract the lesson from every situation. I'm often seen as an optimist, upbeat and bubbly - and that is the real me.
You know what's also real?
I used to struggle with negative self talk in such a big way, I was suicidal - more than once (oh how that has NOT been easy to tell people, but it gets easier each time.)
I had an absent father which absolutely factored into my relationships with men, as well as my own self worth (little did I know)
I got married and divorced in my early 20s - oh the hell ... and the healing
I put myself through college and am absolutely a strong, independent woman ... who now knows how to ask for help
I've struggled with learning to love my body my whole life ... and I'm finally getting there
It was in 2008 when my world shattered more than it ever had up to that point, that I was grasping for straws - for something or someone to come and save me. With hindsight being 20:20, I eventually came to realize that was part of my "awakening." When you don't have a stable inner foundation, anything can take you down - leaving you primed to rediscover and step into who you truly are, more than you may have ever before. To read more about that experience, read my chapter in the Positive Minded People Book.
Now your world does not need to be crumbling in order for us to work together, however, as we do, you'll develop more of your own stable inner foundation. You'll be able to see and think more clearly. You'll be able to heal and release situations that have been weighing you down. You'll naturally become more confident and courageous to allow yourself to take a more valued role in your own life ... and I'll teach you how to work with the Law of Attraction as you'll be ready for abundance to flow in more easily.
It's not about where you are now, it's about where you choose to go next. It's about what you choose to think and believe is possible for you, and what you choose to focus on. Where focus goes, energy flows. Do you know where your focus is?
Whatever is going on in your world right now, I applaud you for being brave enough to take action and consider the possibility that there is still SO MUCH MORE to come for you. You don't have to settle for a life or career you don't love. Your voice does matter and your healthy, confident self-expression is a gift to the world. Take time to care for you, and know that YOU are amazing. I will always believe this about you, even if you don't - yet. I look forward to walking side-by-side with you on your journey forward. Never give up. Keep going. It gets better. ;-)
